Our retail stores are the face of our charity on the high-street and in local communities. We have loads of amazing stock donated to us every week, and this all needs to be sorted, tagged and put on the shop-floor for sale.

Volunteer Independent Visitor- Stoke-on-Trent
For many children and young people living in foster care can be unsettling. You can make a difference by volunteering as an Independent Visitor.
Lead Volunteer – Home Based
We are looking for someone who is ready to take a key role in the spread of our volunteer movement, someone who enjoys organising and inspiring people and someone who is passionate about helping some of the poorest children in the world gain a vital education.
Charity Shop Volunteer – Newcastle Under Lyme
Midlands Air Ambulance
Helping to sort donated stock out and keep the shop floor stocked and clean and tidy. Help to fill the shelves with bric a brac, books, DVD’s etc. Talking to customers and general helping on the shop floor. Serving customers at the till.
Charity Shop Volunteer – Longton, Stoke-on-Trent
You should also have a flexible approach with the ability to work as part of a team, have basic numeracy skills, be reliable and trustworthy, have a sense of humour and be able to provide a friendly, high quality service to customers.

Mentors in each directorate are passionate about engaging with learners in innovative and diverse ways. The Mentors lift the barriers to learning by providing support in a variety of ways, including 1-2-1 sessions, group work, workshops and referals to outside support agencies.

Being a coordinator for Re-engage is a fulfilling and enjoyable role. Just a few hours a month from you can make all the difference of the lives of lonely older people.
Telephone Befriender Volunteer – Home Based
The service aims to help improve the wellbeing of our vulnerable customers through regular telephone calls or digital support. You will provide conversation, friendship and information to people who are isolated and lonely.

The Salvation Army Stoke are in need of volunteers to take meals out to the elderly and vulnerable people.
Areas needed are: in and around Smallthorne, Norton, Bradeley, Northwood and Tunstall area. Meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s.
