LGBTQ Pride and Trans Awareness

This month was LGBTQ Pride Month. As it draws to an end on the 30/06/2020, We wanted to share some resources in relation to the future of Pride movements, and the work that still needs to be done in relation to Trans rights and Trans awareness and education.

Did you know in a recent survey carried out by Stonewall, the LGBTQ+ charity, they found that 46% of Trans people they surveyed had considered taking their own life and 40% had experienced a hate crime or abuse in the last 12 months?

It is important that we educate and empower people with knowledge and information about the Trans community, in order for us to make sure as a society we embrace the Trans community equally as people.
